Walailak University Advances International Academic Collaboration in Strategic Brand Management at UiTM, Malaysia

The School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University, continues to strengthen its international academic collaboration through the delivery of the MKT762 Strategic Brand Management course for MBA students at Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School (AAGBS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia.

The course was led by Dr. Konrawan Rattanaburi, a lecturer from the School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University. The on-site teaching sessions were held from 11–19 April 2026 in Malaysia, providing MBA students with an interactive learning experience in strategic brand management.

A key highlight of the course was the integration of core branding theories with real-world business contexts in Thailand, Malaysia, and the global market. The MBA cohort consisted of experienced working professionals from diverse industries, contributing valuable practical insights and creating a dynamic learning environment beyond traditional classroom instruction.

Throughout the course, students explored key concepts in strategic brand management, including brand equity, brand purpose, and the strategic implementation of branding in today’s competitive business landscape. The course also aimed to equip future business leaders with a deeper understanding of the role of brands as strategic assets for organizations.

The final phase of the course will focus on the practical application of strategic brand management, reflecting the strong international academic collaboration between Walailak University and UiTM AAGBS. This initiative represents another significant step in enhancing academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and international engagement in business and management education.
