SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANCY AND FINANCE

Message from the Dean

Since its establishment, Walailak University has continuously developed its academic structure to respond to changes in society, the economy, and the global higher education landscape. On 14 May 2022, the Walailak University Council approved the restructuring of several academic units in order to strengthen the University’s academic management and support its aspiration toward international recognition and world-class standards.

On this important occasion, the School of Accountancy and Finance was officially established as a new school, separated from the former School of Management. The new school brings together academic strengths in accounting, finance, and economics in order to better prepare graduates for the changing world of business, government, and society.

The School is committed to producing graduates who are ready to work, capable of analytical thinking, and equipped with practical knowledge for both the private and public sectors. We also emphasize academic quality, practice-based learning, research integration, and collaboration with external partners to ensure that our students are well prepared for professional life and future challenges.

On behalf of the School of Accountancy and Finance, I warmly welcome all students to our academic community. We are committed to supporting every student with care, dedication, and high expectations so that they may grow to become both capable and responsible members of society.

We believe that education should not only develop knowledge and professional competence, but also cultivate integrity, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world.
