On Wednesday, 11 March 2026, and Thursday, 12 March 2026, the School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University, organized the ABC Leadership Camp at Nan Mod Daeng, Lan Khoi Subdistrict, Pa Phayom District, Phatthalung Province. The camp aimed to enhance students’ leadership skills, develop their potential, and strengthen relationships and networks between senior and junior students.
Mr. Chawapong Nuisuk, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and Assistant Professor Watcharawat Promma led this meaningful activity. The event was also honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Jintanee Rusue, Associate Dean of the School of Accountancy and Finance, who officially opened the camp and offered encouragement to the participating students.
One of the major highlights of the camp was the session entitled “Passing the Torch – Inspiring and Transferring Leadership Spirit from Seniors to Juniors.” On this special occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Anuman Chanwong, the first former president of the Student Council, shared his valuable experiences, perspectives, and lessons in leadership. His talk served as a powerful inspiration for current students to grow into visionary leaders with a strong sense of social responsibility.
In addition, the camp featured several intensive and engaging learning activities. Among them was the session “Unlocking Leadership Potential,” delivered by distinguished guest speakers:
💛 Mr. Thongchai Phromchan from the School of Education
💛 Mr. Nattakorn Naknong from the School of Accountancy and Finance
Both speakers shared valuable knowledge, ideas, and practical tools essential for leadership development in today’s world.
Another memorable activity was “Reflection Night,” a session dedicated to reflecting on experiences, emotions, and meaningful moments from the day’s activities. This session provided students with an opportunity to exchange perspectives, learn from one another, and build stronger connections among camp participants.
The ABC Leadership Camp served as an important platform for preparing students to become a new generation of leaders who are knowledgeable, capable, visionary, and ready to contribute positively to society in the future. The activity also reflected the strong commitment of the School of Accountancy and Finance to nurturing students to become not only academically competent but also morally grounded individuals, in line with the mission of Walailak University.
Because true leadership does not come merely from a title, but from inspiration, action, and the passing on of values from one generation to the next.
