On 27 May 2026, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presented certificates and congratulatory bouquets to a Walailak University research team in recognition of receiving external research funding for the project entitled “Study and Development of a Master Plan for Water Resources Management in the Upper East Coast Southern River Basin.”
The project represents multidisciplinary collaboration among the School of Accountancy and Finance, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Languages and General Education, School of Architecture and Design, and School of Political Science and Public Administration, with Associate Professor Dr. Pakorn Ditthakit serving as the project leader.
