On 31 January 2026, the School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University, participated in a Buddhist memorial ceremony marking the 100-day observance and dedicated as a royal merit-making ceremony in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, at Wat Yang Yai, Tha Khuen Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Representing the School of Accountancy and Finance were Mr. Nattawat Suwanphan, Academic Officer of the Accounting Program, and Ms. Areeya Jamsak, Academic Officer of the Economics Program. They attended the ceremony together with Assistant Professor Dr. Nukul Suksuwan, Assistant to the President of Walailak University, to express loyalty and pay tribute in remembrance of Her Majesty’s immeasurable royal benevolence.
The ceremony was conducted in a solemn, respectful, and dignified manner. Representatives from government agencies, private organizations, and members of the local community attended the ceremony in unity.
The School’s participation in this ceremony reflects a deep sense of gratitude for Her Majesty’s royal benevolence, as well as a commitment to preserving the valued traditions and cultural practices of Thai society.
