ESTABLISHED 2022
The Beginning of the School of Accountancy and Finance
The School of Accountancy and Finance
is an academic unit of Walailak University. It was established following the resolution of the Walailak University Council at Meeting No. 5/2022 on 14 May 2022.
The School was formed by transferring the Bachelor of Accountancy Program, the Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Business Management and Digital Finance,
the Bachelor of Economics Program, the Master of Business Administration Program in Innovation Management and Business Development,
and the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Innovation Management and Business Development from the former School of Management.
Its primary mission is to produce graduates in accounting, finance and economics.

FIRST COHORT
Welcoming the First Generation of Students
The School of Accountancy and Finance
began admitting its first cohort in the 2022 academic year through the Bachelor of Accountancy Program,
the Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Business Management and Digital Finance,
and the Bachelor of Economics Program, with a total of 200 newly admitted students.
In addition, 349 undergraduate students in these programs and 57 graduate students
were transferred from the former School of Management.

Developing Graduates with Academic Excellence and Practical Expertise
Today, the School of Accountancy and Finance offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs. The School is committed to developing graduates with strong academic knowledge and genuine practical capability through a full Cooperative Education approach. This reflects Walailak University's aspiration to produce graduates who excel academically and are highly proficient in professional practice.
Beyond producing bachelor's, master's and doctoral graduates with knowledge, capability, vision and integrity, the School also seeks to respond to the needs of society. It promotes internationally disseminated research, provides academic services to public and private organizations, and contributes to the preservation and promotion of arts and culture.
